Why are baby teeth so important? Aren’t they just going to fall out?

December 28, 2016 Posted by Jim Burchett For Your Baby

The mouth is the gateway to the body!  From the earliest times, the body is greatly effected by how we treat our teeth.  Baby teeth (also known as Primary teeth) are essential in helping a child CHEW and SPEAK properly.  A child’s teeth are also important in growth and development, as they assist the adult teeth in proper arrival and alignment.

Pediatricians tell us that the NUMBER ONE MOST PREVALENT CHILDHOOD DISEASE IS TOOTH DECAY.  It is also the number one reason while a child misses school.  Cavities are the end result of a disease process that can give kids pain and infection.  Without a proper plan, your child may be susceptible to early problems that may be preventable.  Our kids depend on us to protect them from harm, and this includes their teeth!
